If you are interested in lightweight, romantic comedies, then this is the movie for you.

The teen romance movie is about a teenage girl, Lara Jean, who writes secret letters addressed to every boy she has ever loved. These letters are never delivered to these boys. Instead, they are carefully stashed away in her room. Unfortunately, her baby sister discovers this stash and does the needful. She sends the letters to everyone it was addressed to.

At school, Lara Jean is made to confront these boys. One of which is her older sister’s ex-boyfriend, Josh. Peter Kavinsky, another one of the guys she loved before agrees to be her fake boyfriend in order to make his ex-girlfriend jealous. And to also make Josh stay away from her.

Along the line, the feelings could no longer be controlled and both Lara Jean and Peter kiss more times than they had agreed to at the beginning. And the love story continues…

The cast of the movie features great artists like Lana Condor, Noah Centineo, Janel Parrish, Anna Cathcart, Andrew Bachelor, Trezzo Mahoro, Madeleine Arthur and Emilija Baranac.

This is the sequel to “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.” It was recently released exclusively on Netflix on the 12th of February, 2020.

Among the recipients of Lara Jean’s collection of love letters is John Ambrose McLaren who is her Model UN crush. There’s a twist. Turns out that John Ambrose also has feelings for our darling Lara Jean.

He shows up at her front door with a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful smile and tension begins to brew. Once again, Peter and Lara’s relationship is threatened by a third party. A perfect third party.

The cast remains the same with Lana Condor playing Lara Jean and Noah Centineo playing Peter. There’s a slight change though with the character of John Ambrose McLaren. Jordan Burthcett made a first appearance as John Ambrose in “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.” In this sequel, Jordan Fisher would be casting for the role.

Given that it’s predecessor, “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” was and still is a hit, we can expect nothing less from this sequel.

As the tagline of the movie goes, “Someone you pass on the street may already be the love of your life.” The movie is a 1998 romantic comedy but as they say, Old is Gold.

Kathleen and Joe are business rivals. They both own and run bookstores in the same community. A matter of deceitful omission makes what would have been a peaceful coexistence turn into a bitter rivalry. While Kathleen runs a small, homely bookstore, Joe is managing the New York office of his bookstore.

Apart from being bookstore owners, they had something else in common. They were both looking for love. Ironically, they started chatting under fake names on a dating app while hating each other in real life. Joe finds out the truth first but says nothing. Their love continues to grow online and even offline until they both realize the truth.

Some of the cast in this 1998 movie include; Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Parker Posey, Jean Stapleton, Dave Chappelle, Steve Zahn, and Greg Kinnear.

If you are in the mood for some irregular feel-good romantic comedy, filled with so much laughter and emotions, then this is the movie you need to watch.

Now, this is a beautiful movie. This 2004 American romantic comedy has quite an unusual storyline. Let’s take a look at the synopsis.

Henry Roth, the male lead in this movie, is a veterinarian and a chronic womanizer. He has a notorious reputation with women on Sea Life Park, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. All this comes to an end when he sets his eyes on Lucy Whitmore at a café. They hit it off and plan a date for the next day.

But something strange happens the next day. Henry realizes that Lucy has no memory of what transpired between them the previous day. Turns out she has a medical condition named anterograde amnesia. It is a brain disorder that stops her from forming new memories. She only got that way after surviving an accident with her father the previous year.

Despite this, Henry continues to love her. And with the help of her family and friends, they devised a means to remind her of her beautiful life every morning. Later on, they get married and even have a daughter together.

Some of the cast involved in this movie include; Andrew Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Rob Schneider, Sean Austin, Dan Aykroyd, Amy Hill, Lusia Strus, Missi Pyle, and many others.

Although Lucy’s condition is nothing to be jealous of, how great would it be to fall in love afresh every single day? Beautiful, isn’t it?

So, we’ve just given you some of the best romantic movies. But, do not forget that most of these stories are fictional. Hence, you must be careful not to make unrealistic demands on your relationship. Every love story is unique and beautiful in its own way. Don’t try to make yours be like anyone else’s. But in the meantime, watch these movies and watch yourself fall in love with your partner all over again!
