Order For Some Chocolate and Flowers

Don’t be scared, you’re not doing this because you want to pretend you’re who you’re not. The roses are not for you. Neither is the chocolate. Just pick up your phone and make the order. You’ll be getting your order in the evening when you’re prepared.

Spend Time With Nature

There is nothing as calming as the serene atmosphere of daybreak; watching the fog lift off everything, and the sun come out in all its glory, gives you a mighty boost that makes you want to go Yes! I’m alive!!! Lol. I love to come out that early and walk in the dew, imagining that those droplets are soothing away all my worries and preparing me to face a new day.

Find a beautiful, natural scenario. It doesn’t have to be far away from you. It could be from your window, in your garden or just across the street. Sit down and absorb the immense beauty of the world with a consciousness that you are part of it and you too are beautiful. Remind yourself that Valentine’s day is a celebration of life and love and you’re going to have so much fun.

Do Some Exercise

After enjoying that pretty view, put on your running shoes and start moving. If you’re going to hit the gym, hit the gym! Get your blood pumping. Exercise is a great way to unwind and increase self-confidence, especially on a day when the self-confidence of singles around the world are put in question.

Exercise will also make you feel good about your body. The fact that you’re working to get in or sustain that killer body, making you feel like you’re actually doing something and not at a standstill in life. Make sure to wear something nice for a valentine’s day run. A touch of red wouldn’t hurt. We’re celebrating!

Don’t Go On Social Media

I know you might be tempted to put on your data and check on your friends when you get back from your run but don’t you dare do that. That would just destroy everything we’ve been working for. Seeing all the chocolate and the Roses and all the kisses and hugs are only going to make you feel so single. Instead, call or text your loved ones and tell them how much you love them.

Go Out For Lunch With Other Single Friends

Wear a comfortable T-shirt and sneakers or dress up in that fancy sundress. Just make sure you’re comfortable in what you’re wearing then go out and have a fun lunch with other single friends who are content and not moaning about their relationship status. Remember we don’t need any bad energy on valentine’s day.

Order for that ice cream or dessert you’ve been wanting to try and ignore the fact that your belly is kinda round. One day of splurging will not kill you. Drink a glass of champagne and have some chocolate. Share a piece with someone! You’ll feel great trust me.

Do Something For Yourself

Do you like swimming? Spending time in the park? Karaoke? A dance party? Shopping? A day at the spa? Do you want to get a dog? This is the day to make your dreams come true. Put down your phone and get in the outfit you need to do what you love to do. Buy yourself that dress you’ve been dreaming of. Sing that song like a pop star! Wear that risque bikini you wouldn’t wear on a normal day. Do all the crazy things you have always wanted to do but haven’t been able to do before, so long as they’re legal. Haha.

Do Something Good

Since Valentine’s day is a day to celebrate love and life, there is no better day to do something that you would be proud of. You could visit old people or foster kids. Little kids wouldn’t mind gift cards and chocolate you know. Donate to charity! Forgive that person you’ve been keeping caged in your heart. Do something nice for your loved ones! Go to the church of your place of worship and pray. Just do something nice that would leave you feeling like you’ve made a significant difference in the world.
