Thugs Break Into The US State Capitol Building And More

The US state capitol building is a very important building that serves as a meeting place for Congress and the legislative arm of the federal government. Today, armed thugs have breached the building in an attempt to stop the Congress’ decision to name Joe Biden winner of the November elections once again.

But this is not the first time. DEADLINE on the 21st of December 2020 posted, “According to the Oregon State Police and multiple media reports, a group of armed protesters broke windows and stormed the capitol while the state legislature was in session on Monday. Legislators were debating Covid-19 restrictions and related public assistance in closed session. The only people permitted inside the building were members of the Salem Police Department and the Oregon State Police as well as lawmakers, staff, and reporters.

The protesters, many with flak jackets, military helmets, and some carrying long guns with multiple magazines, entered the capitol building at about 8:30 am. According to Salem PD, “at least one of the protesters used chemical agents on the police…OSP [Oregon State Police] used inert pepper balls while dealing with these protestors.”

After today’s break-in at the Capitol Hill building in Washington DC, Trump tweeted at 2:39 p.m, “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”

Americans have blamed him for encouraging the “protesters” in violence. At 3:13 p.m., he tweeted, “I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”

Ivanka Trump also tweeted at 2:15 pm “American patriots- any security breach or disrespect to our law enforcement is unacceptable. The violence must stop immediately. Please be peaceful.” (This tweet has been deleted due to outrage.)

Joe Biden, America’s president-elect had this to say about the situation “Let me be very clear, the scenes of chaos at the Capitol do not reflect a true America. What we’re seeing are a small number of extremists dedicated to lawlessness. This is not dissent: it’s disorder, it’s chaos, it borders on sedition—and it must end.”

U.K. Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, tweets response to protestors storming Capitol: “Disgraceful scenes in U.S. Congress. The United States stands for democracy around the world and it is now vital that there should be a peaceful and orderly transfer of power.”

The scene has been indeed disgraceful as thugs steal things from the senate chamber and take inappropriate photographs inside the Capitol walls.

Outside its walls, they have also trashed media equipment belonging to journalists who they chased away.

Americans Question US Law Enforcement officers

Since the break-in and subsequent lockdown of various Capitol buildings, Americans on social media have been asking a lot of questions. Questions about the reaction of law enforcement to the insurrection have taken a pedestal.

@BechlossDC tweeted “Why didn’t law enforcement keep this mob out of the Capitol?”

Other “questions” that went unanswered are:

@adamcbest tweeted “Makes me sick to see these extremists get gently escorted out by police after storming the Capitol. George Floyd gets a knee to the neck. Eric Garner gets a chokehold. Walter Scott gets shot in the back. But these armed thugs get a polite chaperone.”

@abbydphilip also tweeted: “I have seen Capitol Police shut down pretty much everything within a few square blocks of the Capitol because a mentally ill woman drove her car into a barricade. Why are people just able to mill around on the Capitol grounds today?”

In other news, these “protesters” have informed journalists that they would likely get violent tonight. Lockdown at Capitol Hill buildings continue.
