Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the United States House of Representatives has announced that the house is about to pass a relief bill to take care of Americans during this coronavirus outbreak. This bill is to be passed with or without the support of United States President Donald Trump.

Free Testing For All
I don’t know what you’re thinking, but I’m thinking that this is a very smart and much-needed move on the part of congress. The United States is currently in a state of confusion.
Health care is so expensive due to the removal of medical aids by the Trump administration. Some people who are not so rich have chosen to “ignore” the possibility that they might be infected and go about their daily lives.
Who is responsible for this situation? Infected people walking around, free and able to infect thousands of other people in an alarmingly short time. The Trump administration has refused to take responsibility and little has been done to keep the situation under control.
Free testing for all is a brilliant one and will go a very long way to limiting the number of people who will die of the Covid-19 virus in America.

Paid Sick Leave
One of the reasons why infected people or people who have fallen sick with coronavirus still go out to work is because of the economic problems they need to take care of.
An infected person needs to eat, pay the rent, and settle other bills. An infected person will go on working just to make a living for him/herself. After all, if you’re not dead, you’re not dead.
Working out a payment system for those who are sick with coronavirus will give them the incentive to stay at home, free testing will lead them to the hospital and free health care will take care of their treatment. That way, millions of lives will be saved.

Expanded Unemployment Assistance
Apart from taking people off the streets, this clause also means people will be able to afford health care. It means people will take time off worrying about what their next meal is going to be and have ample time to take care of their health.

Nutrition Assistance For Children And Seniors
Since the Covid-19 virus affects the immune system of vulnerable persons like children and the elderly, it makes perfect sense to stock up on nutritious food that would help boost the immune systems of this group of persons.

The Covid-19 pandemic is spreading by the minute and as much as everyone has to be careful not to panic, we all have to be cautious and practice good hygiene to prevent getting infected with the virus.
Staying away from sick persons, wearing face masks and washing hands are some of the precautionary measures that could prove very helpful. The Covid-19 virus is real, but we do not know about the coronavirus apocalypse.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump’s press conference has yielded no positive solution to the problem. His speech contained less on the coronavirus epidemic and more on retail CEO’s and their growing market.
Trump has advised that not everyone should get tested, but only the few who are developing symptoms. The CEO’s of Walmart and Target were present and had colorful praises to shower on President Donald Trump.
Mike Pence has also promised Americans a Coronavirus website to cater to their needs. Trump has said that he does not take responsibility for the shortage of tests and knows nothing about the disbandment of the pandemic team two years ago. These new developments are more troubling than they are calming and leaves the average Americans wallowing in uncertainty.
Also, Trump is “partnering” with the private sector to combat the disease and we are all excited to see what he has come up with after learning so much about the virus for the past two weeks. It is therefore paramount that Americans join hands to secure their own survival. God Bless America.
