From Page to Screen: The Bridgertons Keep Dominating Netflix
A new season of Bridgerton has been released and the Ton is full of drama as usual. Bridgerton season 4 part 2 was released on February 26, 2026. The first part was released on Thursday January 29, 2026, with 4 episodes and the last 4 were released this month to build up anticipation and damn, they were spot on. We were indeed very hooked with many of us watching the entire 4 episodes as soon as they dropped.
The Rise of The Bridgertons on Netflix
If you have never watched any of the previous Bridgerton seasons but have been hearing people talk about it, this is your chance to hop on the trend. Bridgerton was first released on Netflix on December 25, 2020. It was created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes.
The show is based on Julia Quinn’s novels, which were released between 2000 and 2006. If you do not like cliffhangers, you can go ahead and read the novels as a form of spoiler. Although the series and the books differ slightly, the main storyline remains the same.
The Bridgertons Siblings and Their Love Stories
The seasons were a progressive love affair of the eight Bridgerton children, each child having a season to explore love against all societal norms in the town.
Season 1 was about Daphne and Simon’s story, the diamond of the season as it was tagged on social media, this season was well received by the public with anticipation of progressive seasons releasing.
Season 2 focused on Kate and Anthony’s story. Anthony originally searched for a wife out of duty and pursued Edwina, Kate’s sister. However, through constant bickering and denial, he realized that he had feelings for Kate. Fans loved how bold and emotionally conflicting their story was and how they ignored the obvious signs of affection between them.
Season 3 followed the story of Penelope and Colin, a classic friends-to-lovers storyline. Penelope enters society and asks Colin to help her fit in so she can find a husband. This leads to complications in their relationship, but they eventually get married. At the end of the season, Penelope is revealed as Lady Whistledown.
Season 4, which is currently the talk of the Ton (all of us), explores the love story between Benedict and Sophie.
It would also be a crime not to mention the iconic story of Queen Charlotte. Although Queen Charlotte’s story was not listed as part of the main Bridgerton seasons, the spin-off was successful in its own right. It told the story of a young girl brought from her homeland to marry a troubled king.
Bridgerton Still Trending in 2026
The Bridgerton series has always become a trend every time a new season is released, and this season certainly did not disappoint.

Could Bridgerton Season 5 Be About Eloise?
Now that Benedict’s story has unfolded, fans are wondering what comes next. Could Bridgerton season 5 finally focus on Eloise? In Julia Quinn’s books, Eloise’s love story is told in “To Sir Phillip, With Love.” If Netflix follows the order of the novels, her story could be one of the next big romances we see on screen.
In the novel, Eloise begins exchanging letters with Sir Phillip Crane, a widower and father of two. Curious and a bit rebellious, she secretly travels to meet him in person. What begins as a simple visit slowly turns into an unexpected romance as the two learn to understand each other despite their very different personalities and complicated lives.
For fans who cannot wait for the series, the Bridgerton novels are available in libraries and on several free reading platforms online such as Project Gutenberg alternatives, Open Library, or local digital library apps where readers sometimes access borrowed copies for free.
Until Netflix confirms the next storyline, the Ton will continue to speculate. One thing is certain though: Bridgerton is not leaving the spotlight anytime soon.
