Davido and Chioma’s White Wedding: A Celebration of Love in Miami
It’s raining celebrity weddings this August! We were still recovering from the luxurious but quiet wedding ceremony of Mr. Eazi, the Afrobeat artist and his bride, Temi Otedola, the daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, when David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his beautiful bride, Chioma, celebrated the grand finale of their wedding ceremony on Saturday, August 10, 2025.
Their relationship dates back to their time as university students. They eventually made their love public after releasing one of Davido’s hit songs, “Assurance.”
CHIVIDO’25 was a beautiful fairytale affair that had the entire internet swooning. We have all been anticipating this third and final chapter of their wedding journey, following their court wedding in Lagos in 2023 and their traditional wedding in 2024, a brilliant display of the Yoruba and Igbo cultures.
The white wedding was held at The Havana in Miami, and it was nothing short of luxurious, as expected from a music star’s wedding.
Stunning Wedding Outfits From Davido and Chioma’s Wedding
The event kicked off with breathtaking pre-wedding photos of the lovebirds in three different outfits, all of which screamed class and sophistication.
The couple was said to have spent $3.7 million to bring their dream wedding to life. From the pictures and videos flooding the internet, we can see exactly why. The venue was draped in white roses and crystals, making it look like something between a royal ballroom and an enchanted garden. It was obvious that so much thought and money had gone into putting such a dreamy venue together.
Unforgettable Moments from Davido and Chioma’s Wedding Reception
During the reception, Davido gave a heart-melting message to his wife:
“I’ve been on countless stages, but this is the most nervous I’ve ever been. You are my love, my peace, my home. You’ve seen the real me, the me the world doesn’t see, and you still chose me.”

Who could have thought a man who has held several music concerts could still get nervous? Love makes even the strongest of hearts vulnerable, and we love to see it.
The highlight of the wedding for me was Chioma’s gorgeous wedding dress designed by Alonuko Bridal. It’s safe to say that the dress was sculpted perfectly for the bride. Her second and third dresses, designed by Jennifer Rowland and Brides by Nona, respectively, were equally as beautiful.
Then came one of the most iconic gifts in the history of wedding gifts, from Davido to his new bride, that got everyone talking: a diamond-studded Richard Mille watch worth $300,000 from Benny Da Jeweller, a celebrity jeweller who is known to be the brains behind the luxury jewellery owned by some of the world’s biggest stars. He also curated Chioma’s 10-carat diamond wedding ring worth $950K.
Star-Studded Guests at Davido and Chioma’s Wedding
Let’s talk about wedding guests next. The wedding was graced by the crème de la crème of society. When one of the world’s biggest artists is getting married, the guest list will be full of celebrities. Some of the famous people that were spotted are: Governor Adeleke, the current governor of Osun state, who also happens to be the uncle of the groom,
Obi Cubana and his wife, D’banj and his wife, celebrity stylist Medlin Boss, Davido’s cousin B–Red, Zlatan, Joeboy, Adekunle Gold and many others. Everyone showed up looking elegant in the dress code, which was Black tie and evening gowns.
There were amazing music performances from D’banj, Adekunle Gold, Joeboy and the man of the hour himself, Davido.
The internet is still buzzing with video clips from this grand wedding, probably because this couple has been in the spotlight over the years, from the devastating news of the loss of their son, to the birth of their twins and now the grand finale of CHIVIDO’25.
