“Honestly speaking, this year has been and still is a hard year for me, however, I have managed to achieve one of my biggest dreams, ‘starting my journey to adulting.’ So I moved out of my parents house.
As I conclude this year, I want to achieve more in my career development, mental health and personal growth and development both academic and financial. I have already set my goals for next year where I should have registered my company which has been operating in the dark.
But above all, I want to thank the lord who has brought me this far amidst all the trials and temptations.
For those who haven’t achieved anything this year, don’t lose hope, we all trail different paths, your path is not my path, run your race and God will do the rest.”

“Do a surgery to heal my diastasis recti. I had my second child in august, and my body is not healing back to what it was anymore. In fact, the very look of my tummy is driving me into postpartum depression. I had an overweight baby, and the effect has left me with an abnormal abdominal obesity. I’m barely 25 for God’s sake! I love my baby, but I hate my body for doing this to me. I can tell that my husband does not mind, or at least, he pretends not to, but I can’t stand my bloated frame. This surgery should help me feel confident again. Problem is, I have to raise the money before the year runs out.”

Roselyn (F)
Ontario, Canada

“Get pregnant and find a new job. The Nigeria economy is not friendly. worse than this, a barren woman has no peace in her life and home. That’s all that would matter to me to achieve this year.”

“Really for me, the rest months of this year is mainly about finding clarity on my purpose. I hope to figure out if my current chosen career path is the best path for me to take. Honestly, I’ve followed popular advice and stepped out of my comfort zone. However what they don’t tell you is that stepping out of the comfort zone is a treacherous game in itself.
What happens when you feel lost, and hanging after stepping out? I am currently in that state, and I just need something to work for me before the year runs out or else I might be completely lost.”

Richard (M)
Lagos

afrogist, the year 2022, 2022 achievements, 2022 goals,

“I’ve been targeting one tech bro like that in my church. He is my spec through and through, has tech money, and fine ASF. I must get him to ask me out before the year runs out, he is my last card to prosperity and marriage. My last bet. The streets are not smiling oo, neither am I. I must make this plan work before the year ends. Hopefully by next year, we might just be married and I would have my testimony. He who fails to plan, plans to fail. I’m catching my man before others catch him for me.”

This seems like a lot, but I’m speaking things into existence, and manifesting positivity. God willing, I would come back to bookmark this. My dreams are big, but my God is bigger!”
