The past few weeks have been full of drama, tension, and chaos in Senator Ned Nwoko’s home. Ned Nwoko is a Nigerian lawyer, businessman, philanthropist, and politician who serves as the senator representing the North Senatorial District. He became widely known after his marriage to young actress Regina Daniels.
At the time of their marriage in 2019, Ned Nwoko was 59 years old, while Regina was just 18. Their union raised many questions because Regina had a boyfriend before suddenly getting married to Ned. Many netizens could not understand her decision. Even though Ned is wealthy, Regina already had a promising acting career and did not seem to need to marry an older man for money.
For years, Regina and Ned showed love and affection publicly and were blessed with two children. But recently, things have changed, and chaos has begun to unfold.

The issue reportedly started and escalated when Regina asked to go out with her brother and friends, but Ned refused because he felt she looked unstable. This led to a heated argument between the couple, and Regina’s brother jumped in to defend his sister while friends recorded the scene. Although this reason has not been confirmed as the true cause, many believe it is the main trigger.
Regina later told the camera that she was physically assaulted by Ned Nwoko and his thugs. She tearfully said,

Arrest, Accusations, and a Possible Marriage Collapse
Everywhere went silent after Regina’s private jet post until her brother, Sammy West, was suddenly arrested. Reports say Ned ordered the arrest, leaving Regina worried and helpless. However, he was later released with the help of Mercy Johnson and a few of Regina’s strong supporters. Regina even went online to say that Ned thinks she has no one, but she does.
Days after the arrest, Regina returned to social media to say she would fight Ned Nwoko to get her children back and raise them herself. She called him her “ex,” clearly hinting that the marriage had collapsed. At the same time, there were threats that her mother could also be arrested for violent behaviour.
With the pressure growing, Regina appears to be breaking down. She is now reportedly considering returning to the same marriage she earlier said was abusive. In a TikTok post titled “Power for Power and Aura for Aura,” she begged Nigerians to help her protect her family from Ned’s influence.
Regina also shared that she was scared to speak up because people might laugh at her and shame her for flaunting her husband’s wealth for years, only to now face abuse and suppression. While some people mocked her situation, others showed support. Some defended Ned, saying Regina is young and immature, pointing out that none of his five older wives have ever caused a public issue before. Regina is his sixth and youngest wife.
Although many details remain unclear, it is very possible that Regina Daniels may return to her husband, unless something major happens to change the situation.
