Who is Osinachi?

Osinachi Nwachukwu was a famous Nigerian gospel singer loved by millions for her powerful voice and deep worship songs. She was born on November 12, 1979, in Abia State, Nigeria. Osinachi’s music often touched the hearts of listeners because of her unique voice and strong Christian faith.

She became popular across Africa and beyond for her hit song “Ekueme”, which she sang with Prospa Ochimana. The song became an anthem in churches, prayer meetings, and gospel concerts.

As a devoted mother of four and a committed minister, Osinachi balanced her music career with her family life. She often performed at church events and gospel gatherings, spreading messages of hope and faith.

Her dedication to gospel music earned her several invitations to minister in different countries. In interviews, she always spoke about her passion for worship and her desire to draw people closer to God through her songs.

However, behind the fame and her joyful public image, Osinachi faced personal struggles that many did not know about. Reports after her death revealed that she had been a victim of alleged domestic violence. These claims shocked the public because she had never openly spoken about such issues during her lifetime. Her sudden death in April 2022 left many fans heartbroken and led to calls for justice.

Family Accuses Peter Nwachukwu of Abuse Leading to Osinachi’s Tragic Death

The allegations were reported by the late singer’s family members. They accused her husband, Mr Peter Nwachukwu of abusing Mrs Osinachi and their children which led to the woman’s death.

A close relative recounted occurrences where the man would abuse and beat her, describing the marriage as “hell on earth” for the late Osinachi. The last beating session was apparently what took the woman to the hospital as the man had kicked her in the chest and she was left struggling for her life in the hospital for five days before she passed on.
